I was literally begging for him to even speak to her. Let me take you through the emotional journey I had while listening to this audio book. Is he my favorite male lead in the series. Is he the most psychotic out of the group. This man is truly demented in the best way possible. As for Creighton babes don't get me started. I love Annika so much and no matter how good the plot twist she didn't deserve what she got. Literally doesn't have a selfish bone in her body. She literally thinks about others before herself. ![]() Come on she's literally one of the most amazing people I have ever read. When I say I'm obsessed would be an understatement. Or how about the British accent that had me to my knees every time this man said something dirty. The plot twist that had me crying so hard I had to make a TikTok about it. I mean why wouldn't I the grumpy and the sunshine falling in love. I mean my TikTok watch history and liked list may beg to differ that I may even in fact loved this book. ![]()

![]() ![]() Law, in the model conceived by Lessig, refers to the whole set of legal rules stablished by the government. Law regulates through the public force - if one doesn’t behave according to its mandate, the government may force someone to do so (with due process). With no intention of excluding other factors that may influence human behaviour, Lessig identifies four kinds of restraints that may be present in a certain society: Law, Norms, Market and Architecture. 1 It is in this context of seeking more objectivity on human behaviour that we may insert the theme of restraints on individual freedom or “forces” of regulation on the work of Lawrence Lessig. This is the great mark of scientific statement: the possibility of being tested in an intersubjective way, as in an attempt to disprove them. ![]() Therefore, we may say, even paradoxically, that there is no absolute certainty regarding the human phenomenon, even though this condition should not stop us from searching for an answer, even if it is a transitory one, always subject to possible refutations. Certainly many aspects may influence human behaviour: from weather conditions to chemical or psychological factors or even cultural and ideological elements, what is certain is that human complexity cannot be reduced in an absolute way to a few invariable factors. ![]() ![]() ![]() ‘Anyone who calls Melbourne home – in fact anyone who calls Australia home – should read this book.’ -Peter Mares “In re-imagining Australia’s past,” Richard Flanagan wrote, “it invents a new future.” 1835 continues this untold story. ![]() With his first book, Van Diemen’s Land, Boyce introduced an utterly fresh approach to the nation’s history. And he asks the poignant question largely ignored for 175 years: could it have been different? He conjures up the Australian frontier – its complexity, its rawness and the way its legacy is still with us today. He traces the power plays in Hobart, Sydney and London, and describes the key personalities of Melbourne’s early days. In 1835 James Boyce brings this pivotal moment to life. In three years more land – and more people – was conquered than in the preceding fifty. With the founding of Melbourne in 1835, a flood of settlers began spreading out across the Australian continent.
